Jeff Dillman serves GT Securities as a Managing Director in the firm’s Investment Banking, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Advisory practice.  With over $300MM in completed transaction value between sell-side M&A, buy-side M&A, debt placements, debt restructurings, and bankruptcy proceedings, he can quickly adapt to assist clients at various stages of their company.  His diverse professional background that includes positions in investment banking, business consulting, venture capital, project management, as well as a decade of extensive experience in commercial construction and real estate development.  He’s a critical thinker that enjoys digging into how companies operate, figuring out where operational improvements can be implemented, then troubleshooting, problem solving, and developing strategic and financial plans for the company.

Prior to investment banking, Jeff worked with a Private Debt Fund that specialized in funding companies generating $1M – $10M in revenue that weren’t quite ready for traditional banking lines of credit.  Before the Debt Fund, he was an Associate at a Private Equity Firm and focused on analyzing potential deals that came into the firm, developing leveraged buyout models, and layering in the capital table to decipher it investing in the companies penciled out from a numbers perspective.  He has also consulted on financial models for multi-national companies in financial reporting, database configurations, as well as a strategic go-to-market analysis model for a Fortune 500 company.

Jeff earned an MBA with an emphasis in Accounting and Finance from Chapman University in California.  Additionally, he holds a Bachelors in Engineering from Kansas State University.  He actively holds FINRA’s Series 7, 66 and 79 licenses with GT Securities, a FINRA Registered Broker Dealer.

  • Merged two food processing clients, selling a majority stake to $6B PE Fund for $100M+.
  • Represented buyer in successful bid for a 6-facility food processor in a $90M bankruptcy proceeding.
  • Renegotiated $73M of bank debt to be repurchased by client for $10.5M and take back ownership of their company.
  • Sold Organic Pesticide Co. to Strategic Buyer subsidiary of $18B market cap public company.
  • Sold back-to-back food processing clients to PE Firm for $50M to launch their platform.

  • Multiple engagements (buy and sell-side) in the food processing, grocery, produce, healthy snack, seafood, bakery, and automotive industries. Capital raises in medical technology industry.
